Paris–Roubaix ( one-day professional bicycle road race in northern France) took place today on the famous rough terrain and cobblestones.
The surprise winner was Johan Vansummeren . The Garmin-Cervélo rider beat Swiss Fabian Cancellara at the end of a 258-km ride from Compiegne.
