Some YouTube users may be noticing that they can now edit their videos onsite thanks to a new feature that rolled out globally Wednesday.
Using the feature will enable you to edit uploaded YouTube videos while also maintaining the same video IDs, making it possible to hold onto view counts and comments. Existing links to the video will also continue to work. All you have to do is click “Edit Video” on your video’s page or on the My Videos page.
While the editing feature isn’t necessarily meant to replace software like Final Cut Pro, it is meant to help users fix their videos in a less time consuming manner.
“We noticed that a lot of people were uploading videos to YouTube that we can say are somewhat unpolished,” says Jason Toff, product manager at YouTube, adding that rougher amateur footage tends to be a lot more common than professionally edited work on the site.

Exciting news are coming from Jaguar right before Frankfurt Auto Show. They will be revealing the new CX-16 Concept, a two seater that will compete in the smaller Porsche Cayman class, meaning it will be more affordable than the 911 class.
It will come with a 3.0 liter, 375 horsepower V6 engine. Supplementing this is an electric motor producing up to 94HP, available to the driver at the push of a steering-wheel boost button. Allied to an eight-speed gearbox and mounted in a lightweight aluminum chassis this allows the C-X16 to sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in 4.4 seconds. The interior showcases interesting future technologies such as multimodal rotary controls that incorporate miniature OLED screens, which reconfigure to reflect the different functions that can be performed via the controls, all of which are designed for maximum compatibility between sports car needs and everyday usability.
One way to do that, according to this Dutch ad, is to drive a Hyundai Velostar. Or, more accurately, to be a backseat passenger. That’s because the model has three doors instead of four and the back row door opens on the driver’s side, Ad agency Fitzroy makes the point well. Maybe too well. Inspired by a visit to Europe in 1932 and penned by none other than E.T. Gregorie, Ford chief designer at the time, the Roadster began life as a 1934 Model 40 frame before going under the knife for substantial revisions. Stretched a full inch over factory dimensions and saddled substantially lower to the ground, the vehicle boasts a rear-pitched cockpit, long nose and custom aluminum bodywork. A classic Ford Flathead V8 powers the rear wheels.
After Edsel passed away in 1943, the vehicle made a few scant appearances around the country before vanishing. It surfaced again at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in 1999 and sold to a collector for a heady $1.76 million. When the collector died, the car was returned to the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House before receiving a full restoration to return it to its former glory.

Yesterday Ferrari announced their 458 Spider, a convertible version of their 458 Italia sports car. The 570 horsepower racer comes with a foldable aluminum hardtop roof, which folds into a space in front of the engine in just under 14 seconds. That of course seems long, considering that this beast goes from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. Except for some other minor design changes and upgrades, the car looks pretty much the same as the 458 Italia. A release date has not been announced yet.
YouTubers are now privy to a cadre of features, including: 1). Recommended videos and artists based on your viewing history (instead of top videos in the genre), 2). Local concert listings paired with artist vids (listings were previously offered, but now feature video previews) 3). To celebrate the new page, YouTube is featuring an electric guitar in its logo — a tribute to the “Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Guide to Rock,” the first curated playlist on the page.
