“I can’t believe it. I can’t believe it. Football. Bloody hell.”

Sir Alex Ferguson after the Uefa Champions League Final in 1999, 2-1 in overtime against Bayern Munich :“I can’t believe it. I can’t believe it. Football. Bloody hell.”

Tonight it’s that time again the Manchester United show in finals. :)) Sir Alex Ferguson reached his 4th final, and the two he won, as you remember were full of drama. After the ’99 final with the final minutes drama of Bayern, and the ’08 final, against Chelsea FC ,  when the penalties were to remember, I wonder what they will be able to produce tonight..

So I hope tonight on Wembley we will see a re-edit of the 1968 final when believe it or not Manchester United played against SL Benfica, went to overtime, where they managed to score 3 goals in the first 10 minutes of the first half of overtime 🙂 (4-1 final score, Wembley stadium 1968) Plus and it’s a big Plus, someone must finally defeat Fc Barcelona (secretly Mourinho Fan)

Pair of Queens

Yesterday at a performing arts reception held at the Buckingham palace, Queen Elizabeth II meets with Helen Mirren, the actress that was awarded an Oscar for her portrayal  of Queen Elizabeth in The Queen. Also smiling in the back is Ellie Goulding

As the second semi-final has come to an end, here are our Crucible finalists

Judd Trump – secured his place in the final after an 105 break, to defeat Ding Junhui 17-15. Trump, 21, became the second youngest Crucible finalist – behind Stephen Hendry – as he ended Chinese dreams in Sheffield.

John Higgins – won the second semi-final against Mark Williams 17-14. Although the game was balanced, again John was as lucky as they get, even after a spectator started to make remarks about what he did with 300.000 Euro, only managing to get himself thrown out. John Higgins won the World Championship three times in 1998, 2007, and 2009

This is the trophy they will be competing for
