Grind out

As the second semi-final has come to an end, here are our Crucible finalists

Judd Trump – secured his place in the final after an 105 break, to defeat Ding Junhui 17-15. Trump, 21, became the second youngest Crucible finalist – behind Stephen Hendry – as he ended Chinese dreams in Sheffield.

John Higgins - won the second semi-final against Mark Williams 17-14. Although the game was balanced, again John was as lucky as they get, even after a spectator started to make remarks about what he did with 300.000 Euro, only managing to get himself thrown out. John Higgins won the World Championship three times in 1998, 2007, and 2009

This is the trophy they will be competing for

“Oh Jerry…I don’t know sometimes”

Jerry Seinfeld on the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate:

“Well it’s a circus act, it’s an absurd act,You know, it’s a dress-up. It’s a classic English thing of let’s play dress-up. Let’s pretend that these are special people. OK, we’ll all pretend that — that’s what theater is.”
“And that’s what the royal family is — it’s a huge game of pretend. These aren’t special people — its fake outfits, fake phoney hats and gowns.”
“It’s fantastic. We don’t have anything like that.”

Burg crono 2.0

Really now… Is being Dmitry Medvedev‘s bodyguard such a dirty job?

Members of the president’s security detail in Russia, placed an order for a Burg Crono 2.0 mineral-cast luxury bathtub, price: 9000 euro .

As Russia is dealing with a scandal concerning over free-spending bureaucrats, this doesn’t look good as the bathtub is costing more than the country’s average annual wage.

Jenkins’ practice of  art is to use the “street as a stage” where passersby become actors. Many of his installations have resulted in intervention by the authorities whom he also regards as actors. Check out some of his works and decide for yourself.
